On 14th February 2003, 40 children from Hatton Hill were invited along to Anfield to take part in a project that promoted science and technology among children in our local area. The children were split into groups and had to work alongside children from other schools in order to complete a variety of tasks in a two hour period. These tasks involved problem solving, mechanics, electronics and a variety of practical skills. The children were guided by mentors and the teachers and other adults were the judges. It was great to see the determination and innovation of all the children involved. But most of all it was a great day out !
