Year 6 geography bridges foundational map skills and environmental sciences with more complex, real-world concepts like human geography, global economics, and sustainability.
Autumn
By the end of this term Year 6 will know more about the features on a globe. They will also know how Native Americans used the natural resources around them to survive and thrive. Year 6 will also begin to learn more about natural disasters and their impact on human life.
Summer
By the end of this term, Year 6 will know how the economy of a country can impact on physical and human geography. You will be able to make comparisons between different countries and cities.
