Achievement through Happy Learning

Reception's Journey through Autumn

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022

Autumn 2021

During the Autumn term, children have made new friends and explored our classrooms. We have spent time exploring our outside spaces and searched for signs of change which Autumn brings. We have learnt about ourselves and others. We have also learnt about hedgehogs and shared a story about a very helpful hedgehog named Issac. We even made our own hedgehog friend to take home. Our first Book Week story was, 'Squirrel's Autumn Search'. Following half-term we are learning about Autumn Festivals like Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire night. Then the witches arrived in our classrooms as our next story is 'Room on the Broom'. Soon we will be learning about 'Spiders' and then looking forward to Christmas!
