Computing

Year 3 computing introduces children to fundamental computer science concepts, programming logic, and digital literacy. Children learn how to write simple algorithms, create digital media like stop-frame animations, and understand how computer networks function. The curriculum also places a heavy emphasis on online safety.

Stay Safe: Each and every term there will be an eSafety lesson to help children learn how to stay safe online. There is lots more advice on the 'Keep Children Safe' page of our website. 

Our Intent and Impact (I&I) sheets below list the questions we want children to be able to answer once they have completed their learning. They also highlight key vocabulary which children must learn.
