Achievement through Happy Learning

Computing

Year 4 computing teaches children how to understand algorithms, write simple code, and use the internet safely. The curriculum balances computer science, information technology, and digital literacy. Learners build on foundational skills to solve problems, create digital content, and interact with technology confidently.

Stay Safe: Each and every term there will be an eSafety lesson to help children learn how to stay safe online. There is lots more advice on the 'Keep Children Safe' page of our website.

Our Intent and Impact (I&I) sheets below list the questions we want children to be able to answer once they have completed their learning. They also highlight key vocabulary which children must learn.
