Computing

Year 6 computing combines practical digital skills with theoretical computer science principles, aiming to prepare learners for secondary school. The curriculum is divided into three core areas: Computer Science (coding and logic), Information Technology (multimedia and data), and Digital Literacy (online safety and networks).

Stay Safe: Each and every term there will be an eSafety lesson to help children learn how to stay safe online. There is lots more advice on the 'Keep Children Safe' page of our website. 

Our Intent and Impact (I&I) sheets below list the questions we want children to be able to answer once they have completed their learning. They also highlight key vocabulary which children must learn.
