Achievement through Happy Learning

Computing

Year 2 computing (for children ages 6 to 7) introduces foundational concepts in computer science, digital literacy, and online safety. Children learn to create and debug basic programs, understand digital citizenship, and use various software applications to present data and create multimedia.

Stay Safe: Each and every term there will be an eSafety lesson to help children learn how to stay safe online. There is lots more advice on the 'Keep Children Safe' page of our website.

Our Intent and Impact (I&I) sheets below list the questions we want children to be able to answer once they have completed their learning. They also highlight key vocabulary which children must learn.
