History
Year 1 History introduces to the study of the past. It focuses on building early chronological awareness, exploring changes within living memory, and investigating significant historical events and figures through hands-on inquiry and everyday objects.
Autumn
By the end of this term you will know more about The Great Fire of London. If you ever visit our capital city, you will be able to learn more and see original artefacts at London Museum.
Spring
By the end of this term Year 1 will know more about transport through the ages. Talk to some of your older relatives about the changes they have seen in transport during their lifetimes.
Summer
By the end of this term Year 1 will know more about the toys children have played with through history. Tallk to you relatives about their favourite toys when they were little. They may even have kept a favourite toy!
