A Journey Back in Time

Class: Year 3 Year: 2023 - 2024

Year Three went to the World Museum in Liverpool to consolidate our learning about the Ancient Egyptians. We searched the Egyptian gallery and found answers to our 'treasure hunt'. We got up close and involved in the ancient tradition of mummification and the process of embalming. The brave 'slicers' and the 'priest' enjoyed re-enacting this process on an artificial corpse! The children made us so proud when they were able to answer our workshop educator's many tricky questions.
