Achievement through Happy Learning

Anti-Bullying Week

Class: Year 1 Year: 2021 - 2022

Our Zoom assembly introduced Anti-Bullying Week, promoting this year’s theme: ‘One Kind Word’. It is easy to forget the importance of kind words and the difference we can all make to people’s lives simply by saying something nice. Children have given consideration to the kind things they can say from a simple ‘hello’ or ‘thank you’ to a personalised compliment. Kind words will make people feel happy, joyful, appreciated, welcomed, confident, proud, secure, and so much more. Kind words change the world. By drawing attention to children’s kindness, we show that we value it. Our children gave further thought to how kind words make us feel and recorded their class's thoughts in their special PSHE book.
