Year 4 recently embarked on a captivating journey back in time to Ancient Rome at the Deva Roman Experience in Chester. Children participated in various activities that brought the past to life including boarding a virtual ship, sailing back to the bustling port of Roman Chester whilst also interacting with hands-on exhibits that allowed them to participate in battle training at a Roman Amphitheatre. The children were able to explore open archaeological trenches, revealing physical artefacts hidden beneath their feet. Children behaved impeccably and thoroughly enjoyed this interactive and memorable experience.
