Achievement through Happy Learning

Learning in the Community

Lesson: Religious education

Class: Year 6 Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 6 had a wonderful visit to the Al Rahma Mosque in Toxteth today. The guide could not have been better and the children (and adults) were fascinated to gain a broader knowledge of the Muslim community, faith and learn about the remarkable building. Children listened to our guide sing the call to prayer, which was magical and also learned how colour coded letters help those learning Arabic how to sound out the words and letters. In the afternoon, Year 6 visited the World Museum where they were able to apply their learning from their whole primary career. We were very proud of all the children who attended – behaviour was exceptional and they exemplified our school values perfectly.
