Merseyside Police Band Visits

We were honoured by a visit from Merseyside Police Band who performing in our school hall. The band, the oldest police band in the country, consists of extrememly talented musicians so the sound which filled our school hall was incredible. The band took us on a journey around the world giving us the opportunity to listen to famous tunes from many countries. At Hatton Hill we are lucky to have such a good relationship with Merseyside Police which affords our children amazing opportunities. My favourite moment in the performance was watching the children’s faces light up with wonder when the musicians played the first few bars of the first piece. We thank Merseyside Police Band for their memorable performance and hope it will inspire some of our children to pick up an instrument now or in the future.
