Achievement through Happy Learning

Roman Chester

Lesson: History

Class: Year 3 Year: 2021 - 2022

It is fantastic that we have been able to start organising trips once again as we know that real experiences bring learning to life. Our Year 3 children were able to visit Chester where they explored the Grosvenor Museum to learn more about the many fascinatng aspects of Roman life. The children also marched around Chester (Deva, as it was known in Roman times) following a Roman soldier dressed in full uniform.  All involved thoroughly enjoyed their day and learnt much about Roman life in Britain.
