Keeping Safe Near Water

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 each had a special assembly led by Katie from the Canal and River Trust. She explained key safety messages which everyone should follow near water and also explained how to safely help someone if they fell in. Even our youngest children showed a good level of existing knowledge, but we all learned something new (including me!). There is lots of information and fun games available from:
