Geography
Year 1 geography focuses on making sense of the world and their immediate environment. It builds foundational map skills, introduces weather patterns, and teaches basic physical and human features of the local area and the broader world.
Autumn
This term Year 1 will studying your local area. Have a walk around with an adult and talk about different types of houses and features you can see, for example the canal.
Spring
Think about the weather you expect at different times of year. Talk about the weather each day with an adult and try to use the correct words to describe it. Have you ever been abroad? What was the weather like in the country you visited?
Summer
